Got this for my husband, who just loves the way it looks—-and the detail is really nice.
However, the arm that holds the blade is very delicate, and it broke almost immediately. Since using this as a letter-opener requires taking the blade in and out frequently, this is definitely a weakness in the design. He’s had to repair it several times.

The letter opener is awesome looking. I didn’t really get a good impression of how big it actually is in the picture, but it looks great sitting on my desk! The sword in the dragon’s paw is the actual letter opener, and it slides out of his grasp easily. The edge is a bit dull for actually opening mail, but it looks great anyway. The dragon’s detail is fantastic. I love it, and I’m glad I bought it.

I am building a fantasy garden with castle, dragons and villages. This dragon is a beautiful centerpiece of my dragons lair. Very nicely detailed and I get lots of questions about where I found him.

You could try setting up a site of your own and invite people to visit with your items showing there and take orders to similar works, to find them is just a matter of searching out in the internet who you think might be interested in your designs and perhaps sending them photos along with the mail and don’t just rely on one send to many and you are bound to get some feedback with tons of interest and perhaps even more orders than you can make on your own…this will lead into something big for you so go ahead and do it…you have nothing to loose…kristine.

interior design magazine would be a good resource, especially the annual buying/ merchandise guide, as it has the vendors broken down by category, incl. home decor. This or any other magazine aimed at the trade would be a better bet than, say, magazines aimed at homeowners, because trade pubs will have more manufacturers and fewer distributors. Good luck!
